Hey! I am Ulrik, 25, from Norway, and about two years ago I got an idea to get more into sailing. Fast forward to October 2025: I bought a 42 year old Najad. Her name is Plan B, which fits, considering we never actually know what the plan is anyway.

Hi, I am Karen, 24, from Norway. I don't have sailing experience either, but I'm super excited for this new adventure!

The vessel

1984 Najad 343

Our home on the water is a 1984 Najad 343, a classic Swedish sailboat built like a tank. She’s cozy, incredibly safe, and very forgiving of two beginners who are figuring out what they’re doing as they go.
