Visit from Elias and Vemund

On sunday, 28th june, Elias and Vemund arrived to Dunkerque, France to join sailing with us for a while:) They are some friends from back home in Norway, and we are really glad they wanted to come join us! We are now five people in the boat, me, Ulrik, Hoang Vinh, Erlend and Elias.
We stayed in Dunkerque for one more day after Vemund and Elias arrival, to finish the deck work. We sailed the next day to Boulogne, France, and watched the football match, Norway against Ivory Coast. On wednesday we did an overnight passage from Boulogne to Dieppe. The overnight passage was quite challenging as the waves were pretty big and we sailed against the current. We were all pretty seasick and exhausted but managed to push trought it. Tomorrow we will try to sail for quite a while because the conditions will be quite good for us:)
